Low Clouds Cause Delays and Cancellations at Harry Reid Airport

Las Vegas’s Harry Reid International Airport faced severe weather conditions, with over 700 flights affected by delays or cancellations. The Federal Aviation Administration temporarily closed the airport in response, resulting in an average delay of one hour for both arrivals and departures. These disruptions are part of a nationwide trend, with more than 4,000 U.S. flights either delayed or canceled. While the weather forecast for Las Vegas includes further rainfall and heavy showers, other parts of the country, including Chicago, St. Louis, and Seattle, are also experiencing similar issues.
