Raiders’ Player Arrested for DUI at Aria After Hitting Woman with Car

Las Vegas Raiders’ Janarius Robinson was recently placed under arrest for a DUI after an accident at the Aria Resort & Casino valet area. When Las Vegas Metro Police arrived at the scene on Tuesday morning, they found Robinson smelling of alcohol, and with mumbled speech and a swaying body. Although the football player claimed to have consumed only two drinks and was not heavily intoxicated, LVMPD’s arrest report states otherwise. Robinson was charged for DUI after the crash at the Aria, where a woman was struck by his car and pinned between two vehicles. He weighed about 260 pounds and stands at six feet, five inches tall. Unnamed sources say that his car was on the way to the Vdara Hotel & Spa at 5:45 a.m. and the woman sustained minor injuries but left the scene before the police arrived. Robinson was arrested and then released on bail, and his court date is scheduled for June 4. There’s no confirmation of the Las Vegas Raiders’ next steps following the incident. The upcoming Super Bowl and the rest of the football season are expected to present additional challenges for Robinson, who was a noticeable presence during the Raiders’ last six games in 2023 season. Prior to his professional career, he played college football for Florida State. Keep an eye out as more details of the investigation will be released soon.
