The Killers to Make Their First Vegas Residency at Caesars Palace in VEGAS MUSIC ROUNDUP

The Killers will take over from Adele at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this summer, according to a recent report in the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The residency from the Las Vegas-bred rockers will consist of eight dates from August 14 through Labor Day Weekend. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, with a presale on Thursday, available through Ticketmaster.

“I’ve always talked about being drawn to Caesars Palace, and I love being in that room,” singer Brandon Flowers told the R-J in 2022.

“Weekends With Adele” will perform its final show at the Colosseum on June 15, 2024. Following her run, the 35-year-old pop superstar told a recent audience she plans to get fit and play bingo.

“My grandmas and my aunties when I was younger would play bingo on Tuesdays and Thursdays,” Adele said. “I used to think that maybe they had a gambling problem and it wasn’t until I was older I realized it was a socializing thing more than anything.”

Pearl Jam to Make Up COVID cancelation

Pearl Jam’s first Las Vegas show in 16 years was supposed to happen on May 20, 2022 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Then bassist Jeff Ament tested positive for COVID-19 two days earlier.

Now, the Seattle band will make its first Las Vegas appearance in 18 years on Thursday, May 16. More shows might be added in the future. No shows have been officially announced yet.

Pop-punker Avril Lavigne’s 27-city “Greatest Hits” tour will stop at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, June 1. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, January 26 at 10 a.m. PT via An artist pre-sale begins Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT, and Live Nation and AXS customers can purchase tickets starting Thursday at 10 a.m. PT.

To the list of confirmed musical performers at Super Bowl LVIII, which includes halftime headliner Usher, add Reba McEntire singing the National Anthem, Post Malone singing “America the Beautiful,” and Andra Day singing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The big game is scheduled for February 11 at Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
