25 Suspects in Las Vegas Arrested During Special Enforcement Operation by Police

Las Vegas Special Enforcement Leads to Arrests on Sex, Violence, and Other Charges

An operation known as “Heat Wave” conducted by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) resulted in the arrest of approximately two dozen individuals. The enforcement, which took place between August 14 and September 8, targeted individuals involved in sex crimes, violent activities, and other offenses.

According to Las Vegas TV station KTNV, the 25 suspects arrested during the operation include:

  • Michael Vargas, 33, who faces charges related to child pornography. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 3.
  • Alfredo Cuevas, 59, was arrested as a fugitive from another state and has been extradited.
  • Juan Cruz-Perez, 36, was charged with domestic violence and battery.
  • Nico Perez, 33, faces charges of domestic violence and battery. He has been released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on October 12 after pleading not guilty.
  • Zachary Bolin, 38, is accused of elder abuse. He has been released on bond and is set to appear in court on October 19.
  • Jacob Perkins, 19, was arrested on charges of domestic violence assault, domestic battery, and tampering with a vehicle. The case against him has been dismissed.
  • Miguel Guerrero, 49, was arrested as a fugitive from another state and has been extradited.
  • Leonard Robertson, 40, was also arrested as a fugitive from another state and has been extradited.
  • Carlos Ramos, 41, was charged with sexual assault on August 27. He has been released on bond but is required to wear an electronic monitoring device and avoid contact with the victim.
  • Jules Sharpe, 31, was arrested on domestic battery charges. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 16.
  • Ervey Alaniz, 39, faces charges of domestic battery counts. His court appearance is scheduled for November 6.
  • Kamal Jenkins, 24, was charged with domestic battery counts. He has been released on bond, but must wear an electronic monitor and stay away from the victim. He is expected to appear in court on October 11.
  • Duane Johnson, 30, was arrested as a fugitive from another state and has been extradited.
  • Ricky Anderson, 60, was arrested as a fugitive from another state and has been extradited.
  • Michael Sollenberger, 39, faces charges of domestic battery counts. He has been released on bond but is prohibited from contacting the victim. He pleaded not guilty on September 5 and will appear in court on October 3.
  • Cody Bame, 27, was charged with domestic violence and battery counts. He has been released on bond and must maintain distance from the victim. His trial is scheduled to begin on September 21.
  • Taiku Boyd, 50, was charged with failing to register as a sex offender. He has been released on bond and is set to appear in court on December 26.
  • Luis Cuellar, 41, was arrested as a fugitive from another state and has been extradited.
  • Timothy Lebtich, 63, was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender and trespassing.
  • Carlos Castellon-Talavera, 53, was arrested on domestic battery charges. He pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
  • Caleb Stotts, 20, was arrested as a fugitive from another state and has been extradited.
  • Lisa White, 55, was arrested for domestic violence charges on September 7. She will undergo domestic violence counseling, attend four classes, and appear in court on October 5.
  • Dante Brown, 33, was arrested on charges of domestic violence and child abuse. His court appearance is scheduled for September 27.
  • Randy Carter, 28, was arrested on charges of domestic violence. He pleaded not guilty on August 30 and is expected to appear in court on October 2.
  • Juan Valentin, 64, is accused of sexually assaulting a child and lewdness. He has been released on bond and must stay away from the victim. His court appearance is scheduled for September 25.
