A teen convicted of terrorism threats in Las Vegas was arrested on charges of planning terrorist activities.
The 16-year-old ISIS supporter was accused of planning attacks against Zionists and had bomb-making materials in his possession, which led to the charges against him.
The teenager with a propensity for terroristic activities reportedly wrote a threatening social media post in Arabic, expressing support for ISIS and targeting the local Zionists community in Las Vegas.

Although the identity of the suspect was not disclosed, law enforcers swiftly tracked him down, leading to a subsequent search of his residence facilitated by multiple SWAT teams.
Upon searching the residence, authorities found evidence of his possession of components to make an explosive device along with materials and instructions necessary to carry out acts of terrorism.
Notably, the search yielded incriminating items such as an ISIS flag, propaganda materials from ISIS and Al-Qaeda, and anti-Semitic threats, as well as evidence of the production of terrorist propaganda.
The deputy chief of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Homeland Security and Special Operations Division expressed confidence that the arrest neutralized an isolated threat. There are no current indications of any other targeted threats in Las Vegas.
Since the conflict between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group in October, there has been an increased vigilance regarding possible acts of terrorism in the US. The Las Vegas incident will be prosecuted by the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.
Details regarding the teenager’s current detention status are yet to be released.
