The individual succumbed to the gunshot wound, as reported by the Wellsville Sun, a local news outlet.

The incident occurred at the small gaming venue, formerly known as Seneca Gaming & Entertainment Oil Spring.

An autopsy is expected to be conducted on the driver of the blue pickup truck to confirm the suicide.

Casino staff immediately contacted 911 for Allegany County authorities. They informed the police that he was armed with a shotgun, as per the report. Officials were also informed that the man suffered fatal injuries from the self-inflicted gunshot.

Details regarding the shooting were not disclosed by authorities. However, it was suggested that it may have originated from a domestic dispute, according to the Sun.

The extent of the damage to the gaming facility is unknown. No information on the cost to repair the building has been released. The premises house several gambling machines in a gaming room.

The driver was identified as a resident of Allegany County with no criminal record.

The gaming property is situated on West Shore Road in Cuba, N.Y., approximately 66 miles southeast of Buffalo.

The property is located on Cuba Lake and has been operational for about a decade.

Kansas Star Casino Evacuated After Threat

A Kansas gaming facility was evacuated for approximately four hours on Friday following a bomb threat.

No explosive device was discovered after a thorough search of the Mulvane, Kansas property, as per Kansas TV station KWCH.

Among those involved in the search was a dog handler who used a specially trained bomb-sniffing dog.

During the search, entrances to both the casino and the hotel were closed off by authorities.

Shortly after the threat was reported around 5:30 p.m., alarms sounded and visitors were instructed to evacuate the premises through a public intercom message, visitor Frank Belton told KWCH.

I didn’t get excited or anything… Like I said, it was about like high school when they had a fire alarm, or like grade school; grab your stuff and walk on out,” Belton revealed.

Guests were allowed back into the establishment on Friday night.

As of the weekend, no suspect had been apprehended for the bomb threat.

The Hampton Inn & Suites is connected to the casino and features around 300 rooms.

Located approximately 17 miles south of Wichita, the casino is a Boyd Gaming property.
