The $617,150.11 prize for the Central Valley resident is the largest payout so far this year at the Porterville tribal gaming property, as announced by the casino on Tuesday.
The jackpot was won on a Dollar Storm slot machine from Aristocrat Gaming.
Thanksgiving Jackpot in Texas
A guest at Texas’ Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass also had a special reason to give thanks on Thanksgiving.
The man from Corpus Christi won $691,289.48 while playing a Frankenstein slot machine.
The player, who remains unnamed, had placed a $6 bet.
Good Fortune for New Orleans Casino Visitor
A woman at Caesars New Orleans struck a jackpot of about $150K on November 26.
Known as Ms. DeShawn, she originally lived in New Orleans but now resides in Alaska. She stopped at the casino while returning to her hometown around the holiday season.
She was playing Mississippi Stud poker and achieved a royal flush with a king, 10 of spades, the dealer’s jack, queen, and ace of spades.
The total prize was $156,301.

At Atlantic City’s Ocean Casino Resort, Luz Bagley from Cream Ridge, New Jersey, won a jackpot on November 22.

A fortunate visitor to Florida’s Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee took home close to $1M on November 22.

The bet made was $66, resulting in a total payout of $996,852.25.
The player, from Naples, remains unnamed.
Another guest at the casino on November 20 secured $151,934.05 while playing a Lock It Link slot machine.
