Vancouver-based Jackpot Digital Inc. concluded a successful week with the announcement of securing a license to operate in the Ontario casino market.
Expansion in Ontario
Jackpot specializes in dealerless electronic poker and table games and recently shared that the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) had granted approval for the company to be licensed as a registered Gaming Related Supplier in the province. This development allows Jackpot to supply electronic table games to gaming venues in Ontario.
CEO of Jackpot Digital, Jake Kalpakian, stated, “This approval enables us to offer our advanced electronic gaming systems to operators throughout Ontario, positioning us for further growth in one of the world’s most robust gaming markets.”
We are thrilled to introduce our innovative products to Ontario’s gaming community and uphold our commitment to delivering engaging, technology-driven entertainment experiences.
Canadian Gaming: Jackpot’s Expansion
The company also mentioned that they have already received inquiries from various casinos across Ontario and are prepared to engage with gaming operators immediately.
This announcement followed the news that Jackpot had signed a letter of intent to supply two Jackpot Blitz machines to PENN Entertainment’s Boomtown Casino & Hotel New Orleans.
The Jackpot Blitz combines 4K technology touchscreen with card vending technology that simulates actual card gameplay, with real-time player stat tracking, bankroll management, and player bonuses. In addition to poker, players can access games such as Baccarat and Blackjack.
Revolutionary Poker Technology
Boomtown Casino, situated near the French Quarter in New Orleans, features 800 slots, video poker games, and 30 tables.
Each new machine installation results in monthly recurring revenue for Jackpot Digital.
Jackpot Digital also disclosed that they have ongoing licensing applications in multiple jurisdictions in Canada and the U.S.
“We are witnessing high demand for Jackpot Blitz across the United States and globally,” said Kalpakian. “We anticipate our momentum to continue growing in 2024 and beyond as we secure more licenses and expand our installation base to new properties.”
Jackpot has confirmed land-based installations in California, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Oregon, U.S. Virgin Islands, Washington, and Saskatchewan.
