Major renovations are currently in progress at two casino resorts located in Henderson, Nevada.
Penn Entertainment’s M Resort Spa Casino has completed the initial phase of its extensive multi-million dollar expansion project, featuring a fully upgraded casino floor. This enhancement covers roughly 92,000 square feet, as reported by Nevada gaming authorities.
The refurbished gaming space includes a modernized table games area, travertine walkways, 39 newly upholstered table games with contemporary chairs, nearly 1,125 square feet of fresh carpeting, an enhanced high-limit room, and a relocated Coors Light Chill Zone, which is now adjacent to the Raiders Tavern & Grill.

“Our aim was to deliver an engaging, high-end casino experience that aligns with our identity as a resort destination,” stated Hussain Mahrous, vice president and general manager of M Resort. “These design improvements honor the stunning beauty of our desert environment and foreshadow what is on the horizon with our ongoing expansion.”
The total cost of the expansion is estimated to reach around $206 million, as previously outlined by Penn in December 2023. A second hotel tower is currently underway, expected to be completed by early 2026. After its completion, the tower will introduce 384 additional rooms, raising the resort’s total to 774 rooms.
The expansion will also include new conference facilities and a ballroom, set to debut this winter. M Resort, which opened its doors in March 2009 and was acquired by Penn in 2011, is recognized as the “Official Team Headquarters Hotel of the Las Vegas Raiders.” The property also has collaborations with Foley Entertainment Group and the Henderson Silver Knights minor league hockey team.
Green Valley Ranch initiates room renovations
Station Casinos has announced another significant renovation initiative at its Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson. The company is set to revamp all of its nearly 500 hotel rooms and suites as part of a comprehensive property overhaul.
“Every room and suite has been completely redesigned with customized finishes, elegant aesthetics, and thoughtful details aimed at the sophisticated contemporary traveler,” said Ken Janssen, vice president and general manager of Green Valley Ranch, in a statement. “Our new accommodations will stand out as some of the most unique in the city, enhancing the elevated experiences we provide across the property.”

The renovation, developed in partnership with Avenue Interior Design, aspires to transform guest accommodations into what the company refers to as a “tranquil retreat” with a “sophisticated pied-à-terre atmosphere.” The redesign of the West Tower is expected to wrap up this fall, with the complete room and suite renovation to be finalized next year.
Cost estimates for the room and conference facilities renovations are around $200 million. The company also hinted at further property updates to be announced shortly.
