After a successful soft launch last month, Circa Sports is set to unveil Kentucky’s largest retail sportsbook on August 23 at The Mint Gaming Hall in Kentucky Downs, Franklin. This state-of-the-art facility boasts an impressive 80-foot-wide LED display, a 31-foot-wide odds board, a live broadcast studio from Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN), and more than 5,100 square feet dedicated to premium seating, staffed counters, and self-service kiosks.
The grand opening festivities are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., featuring promotions and exciting events. Patrons can enjoy a deposit match bonus of up to $250 via the Circa Sports Kentucky mobile app, exclusively at the retail sportsbook counter at The Mint Gaming Hall from August 20 to August 24.
All attendees will be automatically entered to win a reserved sportsbook booth for every NFL Sunday during the 2025 season, covering 18 games. The drawing occurs at 6 p.m. CST, and the winner must be present to claim their prize.
A college football watch party for the Western Kentucky vs. Sam Houston season opener will commence at 6 p.m. CST on the spectacular 80-foot screen.
Facility Highlights
The sportsbook features 113 stadium-style seats, plush recliners, and three tiers of booth seating. Betters will have access to five staffed betting stations, including an ADA-accessible option, as well as four self-service kiosks located throughout the casino. The VSiN studio will offer daily live commentary, insights, and coverage on game days, with programming available across broadcasts, podcasts, and digital outlets.

Grand Opening Activities
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Wednesday, August 20, at 10 a.m., featuring speeches by Stevens, Mike Palm, Circa Sports Vice President of Operations, along with representatives from The Mint Gaming Hall. There will also be a meet-and-greet with On3 college football expert Brett McMurphy on Friday, August 22, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
