- Modo is a prominent player in the social casino market
- The firm will be the main sponsor for the No. 77 car in four races
Modo Casino has partnered with Spire Motorsports to sponsor Carson Hocevar’s No. 77 car for four NASCAR events this season, kicking off with the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway on August 23.

Modo operates as a subsidiary of ARB Interactive, which is based in Miami and recently acquired Publishers Clearing House (PCH). This partnership with NASCAR marks ARB’s second foray into the motorsports domain, following their existing sponsorship with the BWT Alpine Formula One (F1) team.
“I’m thrilled to kickstart the Modo Casino collaboration and showcase its games within the NASCAR arena,” commented Carson Hocevar, the driver of the No. 77 vehicle. “Modo Casino is expanding its reach through Formula 1 and engaging with content creators, and I’m eager to be part of this journey and foster that expansion.”
Following the Daytona event, Modo will support Hocevar’s car in an additional three races throughout October, including the Cup Series events at The Roval, Talladega Superspeedway, and Martinsville Speedway. Hocevar ranked 20th in the points standings as he approached Saturday’s race at Richmond.
Expanding Modo Casino’s Brand Recognition
NASCAR has established itself as a major corporate-friendly sport in the United States, with a variety of sponsorship agreements spanning various sectors.
Modo Casino presents itself as “America’s rapidly rising social casino platform.” Users can “wager” on “free-to-earn prizes, including cash and exclusive experiences.” Players utilize in-game currency to engage with slots and table games like baccarat and blackjack.
By offering a free-to-play model, Modo circumvents the controversies often linked to traditional sweepstakes casinos.
“Our flagship platform, Modo Casino, is crafted for thrill-seekers who desire casino excitement anytime, anywhere. With classic table games and the most innovative video slots, Modo continuously rolls out new games, catering to diverse playing styles,” states ARB’s website.
While social casinos market themselves as more approachable alternatives to standard gambling practices, it’s worth noting that many do not provide opportunities to win real money.
NASCAR’s Growing Affinity for Betting
Since the 2018 Supreme Court decision regarding the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA), NASCAR has actively embraced partnerships with gaming entities. FanDuel serves as the series’ authorized gaming partner, and numerous races bear sponsorships from casinos.
Notably, sportsbooks such as BetMGM and DraftKings have sponsored individual cars during select NASCAR races. Recently, DraftKings finalized an agreement with Kaulig Racing to display its branding on Ty Dillon’s No. 10 Chevrolet for two upcoming races in September.
