Reality television star Tarek El Moussa, who was allegedly involved in an altercation at the Palazzo Resort in June, had his misdemeanor battery case dismissed by a Las Vegas judge on August 5.

As reported by TMZ, this ruling was made after the HGTV star completed “impulse control counseling” and avoided any further incidents.
Witness accounts revealed that a stranger had accidentally bumped into a chair where El Moussa’s 77-year-old father was seated at a roulette table. Tarek was in Las Vegas to deliver a keynote address at the JCK jewelry convention held at the Venetian, accompanied by his wife, Heather Rae Young, along with their family.
Emotional Response

According to TMZ, Tarek’s father confronted the stranger before returning to his game, at which point the individual touched Tarek’s father on the shoulder and uttered something that led to the ensuing confrontation.
According to the authorities, El Moussa then advanced toward the man, pushing him back. When the opponent attempted to tackle Tarek by reaching for his knees, El Moussa countered by kneeing him in the head, subsequently overpowering him and delivering three strikes to his head, leaving him unconscious.
The victim reportedly declined medical assistance, and El Moussa was not taken into custody.
“We are extremely pleased that the charges against Tarek were entirely dismissed,” stated Tarek’s attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, in a comment to TMZ.
El Moussa and Young co-host the reality competition show “The Flip Off,” alongside Tarek’s ex-wife, Christina Haack, in a dynamic focused on real estate and home renovations.
From 2013 to 2022, El Moussa and Haack co-hosted the popular HGTV series “Flip or Flop,” maintaining a professional relationship even after their personal split in May 2016 and later divorce in 2018.
