Golden Nugget Online Gaming has officially launched its online and mobile casino service in Ontario, further expanding its presence in the competitive Ontario market.

As per data from June, which is provided by iGaming Ontario, online casinos lead the sector with an impressive 88% market share in cash gambling, accounting for CAD $6.4 billion (with an 8% month-over-month decline). In that same month, online casinos generated CAD $243 million in NAGGR (commanding a 79% share of the market, and a 6% month-over-month decline).

Overall, iGaming Ontario indicates that the province experienced a total of CAD $7.26 billion in cash wagers, reflecting a 10% decrease from the previous month in June. Revenue amounted to CAD $307 million, a 9% month-over-month drop.
