Virgin Las Vegas collaborates with William Hill for sports betting activities

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas has secured a partnership with William Hill Nevada, a brand under Caesars Digital, to oversee its sportsbook operations in the upcoming months, contingent on approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Nevada Gaming Commission.

This transition will enhance in-person wagering, increase kiosk access, and enable mobile betting via the William Hill Nevada app.

Dan Shapiro, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at William Hill, stated, “We are excited to collaborate with Virgin Hotels Las Vegas to introduce a William Hill Sportsbook at the venue. Our unique sports betting offerings in Nevada are designed to attract new visitors to the property while we work closely with the Virgin team. This marks the first occasion where guests at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas can register for mobile sports betting using the William Hill Nevada app and perform on-site cash transactions, ensuring a seamless experience.”

This collaboration will present an extensive range of sports wagering options and significantly boost the number of betting kiosks available around the clock. Upon the opening of the new sportsbook, guests will have access to an array of betting choices, including prop bets, Same Game Parlays, Super Parlays, and live Cash Out. The William Hill app will also feature livestreaming of key events, such as NFL games.

Since joining Caesars Entertainment in 2021, William Hill has become the largest sportsbook operator in Nevada and an official partner of the NFL, NHL, Las Vegas Raiders, and Vegas Golden Knights. For the current football season, the operator has rolled out its most extensive betting menus yet, offering two to three times more market options than in previous years, alongside the weekly Pro Pick’em Football Contest and a $50,000 NFL Progressive Parlay Card.

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, a member of Hilton’s Curio Collection, boasts a 60,000-square-foot casino and sportsbook within its 1,500-room hotel. Recently, the venue introduced Cherry Rewards, a loyalty program granting members the ability to earn and redeem points across various resort amenities.

This partnership comes on the heels of Virgin’s operational shift in 2024, which saw the property conclude its management agreement with Mohegan Gaming. An entity formed by its top executives now manages the casino following state regulatory approval.

“William Hill is perfectly aligned as our strategic partner due to its proven success in delivering an exceptional retail and mobile sports betting experience in Nevada,” remarked Cliff Atkinson, President of Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. “This transition enables us to redefine our sportsbook and align it more closely with the vibrant energy and innovation that our resort is known for.”

While the exact timeline for this operational shift has not been divulged, both companies confirmed the sportsbook is set to launch later this year, strategically positioning it to capitalize on increased betting activity during the football season.
