- Dolly Parton has rescheduled all six performances of her Caesars Palace mini-residency due to health issues.
- The iconic country singer revealed she needs to undergo “a few medical procedures.”
- Her shows, originally planned for December, are now moved to September 2026.
Dolly Parton has officially postponed her entire Las Vegas mini-residency, which was set for December at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and has rescheduled it for September 2026. The 79-year-old country icon cited “health challenges” as the reason for the delay, without elaborating further.

Parton is now committed to performing the rescheduled six concerts on September 17, 19, 20, 23, 25, and 26, 2026.
“I can’t adequately prepare and create the performance that I want to share with you, one that you rightfully deserve,” the “9 to 5” artist expressed in an Instagram message to her fans on Sunday, Sept. 28.
“As many of you know, I have been facing some health challenges, and my doctors have recommended that I undergo a few procedures,” Parton continued. “As I joked with them, perhaps it’s time for my 100,000-mile check-up, though it’s not the typical visit to my plastic surgeon!”
Parton might be hinting at an event she recently missed at Dollywood, her Tennessee theme park, on September 17.
“I sustained a kidney stone that was really bothering me,” she informed attendees via a video. “It led to an infection, and my doctor advised against travel at this time, insisting I take some days to recover.”
The Colosseum performances were set to mark the first time Parton has performed in Las Vegas in 32 years, but now it will be her first appearance in 33 years.
“Don’t worry about me leaving the industry, as God hasn’t indicated that it’s time to stop just yet,” she stated in her message. “However, I believe He is suggesting I take a step back for now so I can prepare for new and exciting ventures in the future.”
Tickets purchased for the original dates will be valid for the new performances, and refunds are also available if preferred.
“I appreciate your understanding and love you all,” Parton concluded her note.
