Two additional women have come forward, claiming they were victims of sexual assault by Sky Balla, the Bay Area rapper already facing charges from a 2021 incident at the Aria Casino in Las Vegas, as reported by KLAS-TV.

The 45-year-old, known as Sky Nathan Branklyn, was taken into custody in Las Vegas in 2021 following a woman’s report of a severe assault that prosecutors claim initiated after an interaction at the Aria’s High Limit Lounge.
Branklyn faces charges including two counts of sexual assault resulting in significant bodily injury, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of battery by strangulation with intent to commit sexual assault.
Disturbing Allegations
According to the arrest records, the woman involved in the Aria incident stated that she encountered a man at the casino bar who only identified himself as “Sky.” They reportedly shared several drinks, after which she lost consciousness.
When she regained consciousness, she found herself in a hotel room in intense pain, with the man assaulting her. She recounted how when she attempted to resist and told him to stop, he struck her in the face until she passed out again.
Upon waking up a second time, she discovered the man attempting to force himself upon her orally, as per the report.
She eventually managed to crawl to the bathroom and remained there in darkness for about two hours before asking the man for an Uber to return home. Police were informed that he complied and arranged transportation for her.
Investigators later discovered a considerable amount of blood in the hotel room, leading the hotel to designate it as a biohazard, according to the report.
Branklyn has pleaded not guilty, and his trial is scheduled for February. Prosecutors reveal that the two new accusers have given statements that share remarkable similarities with the Aria incident’s details. Reports from KLAS-TV indicate that both women claimed their initial interactions with the rapper were consensual but escalated to violence.
History of Allegations
Branklyn has been active in the Bay Area rap scene since the early 2000s, releasing independent music and collaborating with local artists, despite not reaching national fame.
His criminal record spans over 20 years, with documented offenses including sexual battery in Hayward, California, in 2002 and rape by force in Huntington Beach in 2008. He is registered as a sex offender in California. The Las Vegas Review-Journal previously reported a 2006 incident where a woman decided not to file charges.
Currently, he remains in custody in Clark County awaiting trial. His legal representatives have not released any public comments regarding the latest allegations.
