According to ESPN BET, soon transitioning to theScore Bet in all U.S. states where PENN provides online wagering (launching on Dec. 1), bettors are heavily favoring the Lions, with 68.9% of bets and 62.2% of the total handle on the Lions -3; 70.3% of bets and 74.7% of the handle are backing the Lions on the Moneyline (-155).

The Packers (7-3-1) previously defeated QB Jared Goff and the Lions (7-4) in Week 1, securing a 27-13 victory while sacking Goff four times. To secure a win for their supporters, the Lions will need to implement fresh strategies and running plays for David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs to effectively challenge the Packers’ run defense, anchored by Micah Parsons.

Lions as Betting Favorites

The top player props attracting bets at DraftKings include Gibbs as the 1st Touchdown Scorer, followed by Gibbs for Anytime TD Scorer, Gibbs for 2+ TD Scorer, and the Packers’ Christian Watson for Receiving Yards over 40.

The playoff chances for the Packers stand at 80% as per ESPN’s tracking, while the Lions have a 72% likelihood.

The Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) are in Dallas to face the Cowboys (5-5-1) at 4:30 p.m. EST on CBS in a matchup that looks slightly more competitive. ESPN BET reports that 54% of bets and 62.9% of the handle are on the Chiefs spread (-3.5); 62.2% of bets and 57.1% of the handle are backing the Chiefs on the Moneyline (-190).

Pass defense will be crucial in this game, as Dallas has allowed an average of 252.3 passing yards per game, ranking as the third-worst in the league.

Mahomes Rising in Rankings

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes currently ranks second in the NFL for passing yards (2,977) and third in QBR at 71.9. He is tied for third in the FanDuel MVP odds, trailing behind the Rams’ Matthew Stafford (-220) and Drake Maye from the New England Patriots (+220), while tied with Colts’ Jonathan Taylor at (+2000).

DraftKings reports that popular player props for this matchup include Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb as the 1st TD Scorer, Chiefs’ Rashee Rice for Anytime TD Scorer, Lamb for 2+ TD Scorer, and Rice with Receiving Yards over 50.

Later this evening, the Cincinnati Bengals (3-8) will be in Baltimore to battle the Ravens (6-5) at 8:20 p.m. EST on NBC. Joe Burrow returns as the Bengals’ quarterback, aiming to reclaim his superstar status and rejuvenate the Bengals’ season. Recall that last year, Burrow threw for four touchdowns and 428 yards in a thrilling 35-34 loss to the Ravens. Notably, WR Ja’Marr Chase is suspended for this game due to a spitting incident.

Bettor sentiment on the spread remains divided—53% of bets and 50.1% of the handle favor the Bengals +7. However, a significant 75.6% of bets and 82.7% of the handle are backing the Ravens on the Moneyline (-340) at ESPN BET.
