The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City has unveiled a $50 million investment plan aimed at enhancing the property, with some projects already in motion.

Upgrades for Guest Rooms, Suites, and Penthouses
“Our $50 million capital improvement initiative for 2026 showcases Hard Rock Atlantic City’s steadfast dedication to investing in our resort, our team members, and the local Atlantic City community,” stated George Goldhoff, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
“With redesigned suites, innovative dining experiences, and top-tier entertainment, these enhancements guarantee an outstanding guest experience while embodying our core philosophy of ‘Love All, Serve All’.”
The resort is also expanding its dining options, highlighted by the debut of Sitar, an East-Indian restaurant offering contemporary Indian dishes with stunning Boardwalk views. Additionally, a Federal Donuts & Chicken eatery will be opening on the property this spring.
Profit Declines Reported
Visitors will also notice new carpeting installed on the casino floor and corridors on the second level.
Hard Rock is among nine terrestrial gaming establishments along the New Jersey shoreline. Casino revenues from retail slot machines and live dealer table games across all nine venues increased by 3.4% in the third quarter compared to the previous year, as reported by Casino.org.
Among these properties, Borgata, Ocean, and Golden Nugget saw the highest profit increases. However, six out of nine casinos, including Hard Rock, experienced reduced profit margins year-over-year in the third quarter (Hard Rock reported $45.4 million, a 6% decline).
Since 2018, Hard Rock Atlantic City has seen nearly $700 million invested in its resort facilities. The most recent enhancements in 2023 included a $50 million overhaul of penthouse suites and the opening of a new high-limit slot area.
The casino now boasts over 2,300 slot machines and more than 130 table games, featuring classics like blackjack, roulette, and craps, in addition to a separate sportsbook area.
