BLVD is set to introduce Tonshou, a sophisticated Japanese dining experience, along with the second location of L.A.’s renowned Silverlake Ramen in Las Vegas.

The highlight of Tonshou will be Bar Centifolia, a branch of the prestigious Tokyo bar that continually earns accolades on global lists. Renowned for the artistic mixology of owner Yuzo Komai, Centifolia distinguishes itself with cocktails crafted from hand-carved ice cubes using traditional Japanese blades.

Meanwhile, Silverlake Ramen, which ranked among Yelp’s top 100 ramen establishments in the U.S. in 2025, first opened its doors in Chinatown in Las Vegas in 2023.

Tonshou aims to launch by the end of summer, while Silverlake Ramen is expected to follow suit later this year or early next year.

Update on Giada

Despite assurances from Caesars Entertainment to Casino.org that Giada will remain in place even after The Cromwell’s transition to the Vanderpump Hotel, questions linger about its longevity.

Owner Giada De Laurentiis has recently collaborated with PENN Entertainment on two ventures, hinting at a possible future outside of Caesars. Her restaurant Sorellina debuted at Hollywood Casino Joliet last August, and Sorella is set to launch on June 24 along with Hollywood Casino Aurora.

The closure of Cromwell’s other dining option, Eatwell, in May of last year suggests a shift toward consolidating the hotel’s culinary offerings under the Vanderpump brand, which had previously been recognized solely for its restaurants.

Restaurant Updates

Guy Fieri’s El Burro Borracho has officially closed its doors. This Mexican dining establishment, which opened at the Rio in March 2016, faced challenges during the pandemic and ultimately struggled after reopening in 2022. The restaurant’s signage has now been removed.

Tony Roma’s, which has been a fixture at the Fremont downtown since 1994, will cease operations there on May 9. This closure leaves only 10 locations across the U.S., down from nearly 200 at its peak. Although this was the last location in Nevada, the most notable was the East Sahara Avenue site that operated from 1981-2014, known for being the site of mobster Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal’s car bombing on October 4, 1982.
