FanDuel has received the green light to broaden its online poker operations in Michigan via a multi-state framework beginning April 1, 2026.

According to the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB), the operator complies with all necessary standards for multi-state internet poker operations. This approval permits FanDuel to provide shared gaming experiences among players in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.

“FanDuel is a well-known name within Michigan’s gaming scene,” stated MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams. “Players in Michigan can trust the fairness of their games, which are overseen by the same strict regulations enforced by the MGCB across all licensed gaming operations.”

In Michigan, FanDuel will feature its poker offerings under the PokerStars brand. MotorCity Casino will serve as the local operational partner for this service.

Michigan became a member of the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) in 2022. This agreement enables cooperating states to merge online poker player pools. Existing members include Delaware, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Prior to joining MSIGA, Michigan’s online poker was restricted to players within state lines. The MGCB also highlighted that further information, including the Multistate Poker Submission Form, can be found on its official website.

The approval aims to bolster legal and regulated gaming while upholding responsible gaming practices and oversight within all licensed activities.
