As Casino.org reported back in February, Caesars Atlantic City successfully renegotiated its beach lease with the Atlantic City Council to allow for a permanent beach bar structure at Lot 25. This week, Caesars made it known that its Caesars Beach Club is set to debut this summer, aiming to elevate the beach scene.

“We aimed to create an oceanfront destination that offers something unprecedented in Atlantic City,” stated Jacob Witmer, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Caesars Atlantic City. “We envisioned a seamless getaway where curated music, exquisite food and drinks, and attentive service blend in a breathtaking environment. Whether you’re lounging on a chaise or socializing in a cabana, this will be a place that makes you long for summer’s endless days.”

Witmer explained that during the day, the Caesars Beach Club will offer a “tranquil” atmosphere perfect for unwinding. As night falls, the space will transition to a lively social scene.

Continued Investment in AC

The Caesars Beach Club symbolizes just one of the numerous multimillion-dollar investments by the nine casino resorts in Atlantic City. With new casinos emerging in New York City, the Atlantic City gaming industry is bracing itself for fresh competition.

Atlantic City has its defenses in place against the forthcoming Hard Rock Metropolitan Park, Resorts World New York City, and Bally’s Bronx.

Alongside offering competitive fine dining and hospitality experiences compared to major markets like Las Vegas, Atlantic City boasts its beach. After a $38.2 million sand restoration project, the beach along the northern edge of the Atlantic City Boardwalk is in prime condition.

Caesars is not the only player betting on beachside investments—Hard Rock and Resorts are also involved. The Beach Bar at Hard Rock and the LandShark Bar & Grill from Resorts are expected to reap benefits from the beach restoration efforts. Further down the coast, the Bally’s Beach Bar and Bungalow Beach Bar provide additional seaside spots.

Over the past five years, the collective investment from the nine casinos has reached $1.2 billion, primarily focused on room renovations and upgrades to gaming areas.

Overview of Caesars Atlantic City

Last year, Caesars Atlantic City held only a 7% share of the local casino market, generating $203.8 million in gross gaming revenue, placing it sixth among the nine casinos.

In 2016, Caesars Atlantic City enjoyed a market share exceeding 13%. This decline followed the introduction of Hard Rock and Ocean casinos, now ranked as the second and third highest-grossing casinos in the city, respectively, trailing only behind Borgata, the long-established leader.
