  • EDC will transition to a 12-day format beginning in 2027, featuring two weekends of festivities.
  • The newly introduced “Dusk Till Dawn” schedule will present numerous activities and events between weekends.
  • Ticket sales are launching today, May 22, at noon, with several pass options available.

EDC is redefining itself beyond a mere festival in Las Vegas, evolving into an entire season. Starting in 2027, this three-night electronic music extravaganza will expand to a thrilling 12 nights. This format includes two highlighted weekends known as EDC Dusk (May 13-16) and EDC Dawn (May 21-23), interspersed with a week of Las Vegas concerts, parties, and additional events, challenging attendees’ endurance without sleep.

Tickets will be available for purchase today, just five days after the conclusion of this year’s event at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway (although a few late-night party-goers may still be around).

Pasquale Rotella, the founder of Insomniac, the organization that established the Electric Daisy Carnival 29 years ago, described the “Dusk Till Dawn” initiative as the “next stage of EDC.”

“We aimed to reimagine EDC as an innovative 12-day immersive experience with two weekends of celebration in a city we cherish,” Rotella stated. “This format allows Headliners the liberty to choose their own adventure, whether to join us for one or both weekends, while we continue to evolve, experiment creatively, and unveil new moments Under the Electric Sky.”

The strategy for the two weekends is to distribute the attendance more evenly, ease the crowding during performances, and strengthen ties with Las Vegas itself. However, as noted by Vital Vegas, this integration may not extend to the gaming floors of local casinos.

EDC attracts roughly 200,000 visitors and generates over half a million entries to the festival each year, bringing significant financial benefits to hotels, which often triple their room rates. However, many festival-goers are less inclined to participate in gambling, consume much alcohol, or enjoy Cirque shows.

The pricing for single passes to either EDC Dusk or EDC Dawn is as follows:

  • General Admission starting at $399.99 (all-inclusive)
  • GA+ starting at $499.99 (all-inclusive)
  • VIP starting at $899.99 (all-inclusive)

Combined passes for both EDC Dusk and Dawn are available starting at $599.

Passes can be purchased on EDC’s official website, beginning at 12 noon today, May 22.
