- Reservations are mandatory, with prices varying based on demand for specific artists.
Thunder Valley Casino Resort, located in Lincoln, California, has introduced a private lounge for guests attending events at its 4,500-seat concert hall. Named the Studio, this space is tailored for those seeking a more intimate gathering area while enjoying performances at the Venue, a 150,000-square-foot facility launched by the tribal resort in 2023.

The Studio is furnished with shuffleboard games, video gaming stations, and high-definition televisions, along with a catering service for food and drinks. Dawn Clayton, the general manager, emphasized that this addition enhances the entertainment value of the property, stating that the lounge “provides a completely new VIP entertainment experience,” in an interview with Indian Gaming.
Since the launch of its $100 million concert venue, which replaced the longstanding Outdoor Amphitheater, Thunder Valley has become a sought-after destination for major touring artists like the Eagles, Bruno Mars, and Santana. Upcoming performances feature the Jonas Brothers on May 29, 2026, followed by Bob Dylan on June 12, 2026.
Thunder Road
Opening its doors in June 2003, Thunder Valley was developed by the United Auburn Indian Community in collaboration with Station Casinos, which managed the property until July 2011, when the tribe took full control.
Over the years, the resort has undergone several expansions, the most significant being a 17-story, 297-room hotel tower in 2010 and a $56 million upgrade to the gaming floor completed in 2019. Hosting approximately 3,500 slot machines and 89 table games across more than 250,000 square feet, it ranks among the largest gaming establishments in Northern California, located roughly 30 miles northeast of Sacramento.
The Studio is available for private events, corporate meetings, and client entertainment but is limited to select performances and private bookings. Thunder Valley adopts a flexible pricing model that fluctuates based on the artist and anticipated demand, rather than adhering to a fixed pricing structure.
Marketing materials did not disclose either the square footage or capacity of the Studio.
Guests must be 21 years or older to enter, and all bookings require a reservation.
