The Vanderpump Hotel celebrated its grand opening on the iconic Las Vegas Strip on Thursday evening, June 11, marking a significant milestone in Caesars Entertainment’s rebranding endeavor of The Cromwell. The revitalized casino resort has surpassed expectations beyond just the star-studded guest list of the event.

Among the prominent attendees, aside from the special guest of honor, were Sharon Osbourne, former *NSYNC star Lance Bass, and ex-Real Housewives of Beverly Hills member Garcelle Beauvais, along with various other Bravo celebrities who were notable by their absence of Andy Cohen.

This event marks the first major opening of a resort on the Strip since the Fontainebleau’s in December 2023, which boasted a star-studded lineup including Cher, Kim Kardashian, Tom Brady, and Lenny Kravitz.

Vanderpump made a memorable entrance, arriving in a bespoke Rolls-Royce and gliding through the main casino area accompanied by bellmen. Inside, Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom, alongside Caesars executives, honored her with a ceremonial “Key to the Las Vegas Strip.”

“The Vanderpump Hotel represents a true labor of love,” Vanderpump remarked. “As with all my passion projects, this one is incredibly personal. It feels like my own jewel box right on the 50-yard line of the Las Vegas Strip, intimate, welcoming, and infused with thoughtfully curated details that each narrate a unique story.”

As detailed in Caesars’ promotional materials, Vanderpump collaborated with designer Nick Alain through their firm Vanderpump Alain to develop the hotel’s aesthetic. The initiative encompasses bespoke furniture, customized lighting, and decorative elements throughout all 188 guest rooms, a refreshed lobby bar, and unique public-area installations, including a statue commemorating “Gigolo,” Vanderpump’s late Pomeranian, whose name also graces the hotel’s new cocktail lounge.

The Vanderpump Hotel marks Vanderpump’s inaugural hotel venture. Her existing venues in Las Vegas include Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace, Vanderpump à Paris at Paris Las Vegas, and Pinky’s by Vanderpump at Flamingo Las Vegas. Beyond Las Vegas, her portfolio extends to WOLF by Vanderpump at Harveys Lake Tahoe and Caesars Republic Scottsdale.

Additional establishments at the resort include GIADA, Drai’s After Hours, Starbucks, a Caesars Sportsbook outlet, the Soleia rooftop pool (formerly Drai’s Beachclub), and The Bar at The Vanderpump Hotel. Notably, neither Victor Drai nor restaurateur Giada De Laurentiis were present at the grand opening.

The celebration wrapped up with a stunning drone show illuminating the Strip, featuring an impressive 600 drones.
