The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has sanctioned the inclusion of 18 individuals onto its various Involuntary Exclusion Lists, effectively prohibiting them from engaging in any gambling activities at licensed casinos, regulated online betting sites, and Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) venues throughout the state.
In the recent decisions, the board added four individuals to the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List following investigations that revealed they had left minors unattended in casino areas while they engaged in gambling activities.
The PGCB reported that one woman left two children, aged 8 and 13, in a vehicle at the Valley Forge Casino Resort for a duration of 52 minutes while she participated in several forms of gambling.
In another instance, a female gambler left three children, ages 8, 9, and 13, alone in a hotel room at the Mount Airy Casino Resort for 1 hour and 48 minutes while she played table games.
Additionally, a male patron was barred for leaving a 12-year-old child unattended in a vehicle at the Hollywood Casino York for 30 minutes while he engaged in slot machine play.
The board emphasized that actions of exclusion related to unattended minors are designed to bolster state regulations that prohibit adults from leaving children unsupervised in any casino-related areas, be it parking lots, garages, hotels, or other casino property sections.
Regulators expressed concern that such scenarios pose safety risks to minors. To support casinos in addressing this issue, the PGCB continues its public awareness campaign, “Don’t Gamble with Kids,” at DontGamblewithKids.org.
Total Exclusion List Surpasses 1,481
Alongside the cases involving unattended minors, the board confirmed the addition of 14 additional individuals to the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List for various infractions.
The cases were presented by the PGCB’s Office of Chief Counsel and Office of Enforcement Counsel.
With these latest actions, the number of individuals listed across the board’s various Involuntary Exclusion Lists has now reached 1,481.
The PGCB is set to convene its next public meeting at 10 a.m. on July 22, 2026, in the Public Hearing Room located on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg.
