The AGEM Index is published monthly by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers to monitor nine global gaming suppliers. Of these companies, five are located in the United States and are listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, or the over-the-counter market. The remaining four are based in Australia and Japan.
The index is derived from the month-end stock prices of each company, adjusted for dividends and stock splits, and is weighted based on an estimate of market capitalization. The market caps of companies listed in foreign exchanges are converted into U.S. dollar equivalents at month’s end, ensuring comparability.
