The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is set to unveil a new 7,300-square-foot enclosed non-smoking gaming area on August 24, which will introduce 224 slot machines to its gaming floor.
Situated near the William Hill Sportsbook, this new space will showcase games from nearly a dozen gaming manufacturers and include a full-service bar. Unlike the resort’s existing non-smoking area, this will offer a completely separate and enclosed gaming experience.
“Our guests greatly influence our decisions, and expanding our non-smoking gaming choices is a frequent request,” stated Kevin Glass, the General Manager of the Palms Casino Resort.
“This new facility features over 200 of the newest games, a dedicated bar, and an enhanced gaming experience that provides a fresh way to enjoy gaming at Palms,” he continued. “Additionally, since Palms has been acknowledged as one of the luckiest casinos in the nation, we felt the need to create extra space for ongoing winnings.”
The grand opening ceremony will take place on September 1 at 4 p.m., kicking off with a Spin It Forward Celebrity Charity Slot Challenge presented by IGT, followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.
The occasion will unite local celebrities who will play on behalf of ten Southern Nevada nonprofits. Each charity involved will receive a $2,500 donation courtesy of the San Manuel Gaming and Hospitality Authority and an additional $1,000 in slot play provided by IGT.
The participating organizations include Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, UNLV Chapter of Advancing Indigenous Science & Engineering Society, Proud to Rescue Benevolent Fund, Southern Nevada Joint Management Culinary & Training Fund, S.A.F.E. House, PBS Southern Nevada, The Ability Center, Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada, Springs Preserve Foundation, and Teach For America Nevada.
This new area will also feature a dedicated bar program with rotating draft beers from local breweries and unique cocktails. Menu highlights will consist of a nitro tequila take on the carajillo, along with a Bartender’s Choice selection of three premium bourbon and Scotch flights priced at $10.
September promotions for Club Serrano members will include Hot Seats from September 1-3 and Thursday night drawings on September 10 and 17, offering chances for free slot play and exciting prizes.
