Diner Ross Steakhouse will close its doors on September 26, 2026, marking the end of a unique era in dining at the Linq. Its sister establishments—99 Prince Bar and Glitterloft—will also shut down on the same night.
The establishment first opened in September 2024 as Diner Ross, a nostalgic tribute to 1970s New York featuring disco fries, chrome decor, and an entrance resembling a subway station that required courage to enter.
Originally intended to complement DiscoShow in a unified Spiegelworld district developed in collaboration with Caesars Entertainment, Diner Ross struggled after DiscoShow closed on Jan. 3, 2026, due to lagging ticket sales. The loss of its late-night audience left the diner in a challenging position without the ability to sustain itself. (The later rebranding as a “Steakhouse” did not yield positive results.)
Despite this closure, Spiegelworld continues to have a significant presence in Las Vegas with successful shows like Absinthe at Caesars Palace, Atomic Saloon at Venetian, and The Party at Superfrico within the Cosmopolitan, where they also operate the Ski Lodge.
Cocktails Get Carried Away
Lovers of spirits can now enjoy alcohol to go from restaurants, bars, and taverns in Las Vegas following a recent decision by the Las Vegas City Council. This service is limited to the city of Las Vegas and does not extend to the Strip, which falls under the jurisdiction of unincorporated Clark County.
Dining Ins & Outs
Tyler Vorce‘s Lilli, hailed as one of the standout dining destinations in Vegas last year, will officially open its doors on October 8 at 3616 Spring Mountain Road. After a successful pop-up stint at Durango Social Club, the French eatery is now ready for a permanent location.
Mama Rabbit at Park MGM will close on September 14. Known for its mezcal-focused offerings, Mama Rabbit, created in collaboration with Bricia Lopez of Guelaguetza fame in Los Angeles, played a significant role in introducing Oaxacan spirits to mainstream audiences on the Strip.
Mulberry Street Pizza, a popular eatery at Resorts World, will also cease operations on September 14. The owners are actively seeking a new location in Vegas, emphasizing their commitment to the city.
A Different Beast in Chinatown, known for its Spanish-inspired cuisine, closed its doors on August 30. The anime-themed One Piece Café, a favorite spot for cosplay gatherings and themed events, will follow suit on October 2. No plans for relocation have been announced for either of these establishments.
