According to a recent survey by Statista for TIME magazine, one of the world’s largest betting firms is also considered one of the best companies to work for.

Flutter Entertainment has consistently been ranked in TIME’s World’s Best Companies list since it began in 2023. In 2026, the parent company of FanDuel achieved its highest ranking of 41st globally.
Being recognized by TIME every year since this list began speaks volumes about the company’s enduring qualities. It highlights the efforts of colleagues worldwide who contribute to building our products, serving our customers, and upholding the standards we have set for ourselves. This recognition belongs to them, and I am immensely proud of their accomplishments,” said Lisa Sewell, chief people officer at Flutter.
The ranking criteria for the annual list includes employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and transparency in sustainability practices.
Statista conducted surveys with over 200,000 employees, with companies needing a minimum revenue of $100 million in 2025 to qualify for the list. Revenue growth over the previous three years and sustainability transparency were key factors in determining rankings.
Employee Feedback
Flutter appreciated its ranking in TIME, emphasizing the importance of employee feedback in determining rankings.
“This recognition is significant due to its focus on internal perceptions of the workplace, business performance, and transparency in reporting impact, rather than solely on external brand recognition. It underscores the strength of our business and our ongoing growth, as well as the invaluable contributions of our colleagues at Flutter,” stated the betting firm.
This recognition signals the strength of our business, our long-term growth, and most importantly, the experience of colleagues across Flutter who continue to build and shape our success every day,” added the company statement.
Flutter received a score of 87.99/100, with a high sustainability transparency score ranking 14th, and a “very high” revenue growth classification. However, employee feedback placed Flutter at 501st among the 1,000 companies graded.
Established in 2016 through a merger of Paddy Power and Betfair, Flutter Entertainment rebranded in 2018 after acquiring a controlling stake in FanDuel. It is now the largest online betting firm globally.
Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, Flutter’s portfolio includes PokerStars, Sky Bet, Sportsbet, and Adjarabet. The company boasts over 28,500 employees, according to its latest regulatory filing.
Sands, MGM Rankings
Las Vegas Sands and MGM Resorts were the only other gaming companies to feature on TIME’s World’s Best Companies list.
Sands, the largest casino operator by market capitalization, secured the 263rd position, while MGM was ranked at 499.
