Rapper 50 Cent is set to introduce a casino version of a traditional New York street dice game at this year’s G2E event at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas from Sept. 29–Oct. 1, 2026.
The renowned artist, born in Queens as Curtis Jackson, has collaborated with U.K.-based gaming manufacturer TCSJOHNHUXLEY to create 50 Cent Headcrack, a licensed casino table game inspired by the classic Cee-lo game.
50 Cent shared a sneak peek of the game on Instagram on Sept. 17, 2026, highlighting the game’s transition from street corners to a legitimate casino setting.
“For a century, this game thrived on street corners,” he mentioned in TCS/JOHNHUXLEY’s press release. “Now, it has a proper setup, a pay table, and a spot at a real casino table. Same dice, different setting.”
Diverse Background
Cee-lo, originating from sì wǔ liù (Chinese for “four-five-six”), involves three six-sided dice. Initially popular among Chinese-American players since 1893, it later gained prominence in hip-hop culture during the late 1970s, becoming a staple on the streets of Harlem, Brooklyn, and the Bronx.
Several music artists like Nas, the Notorious B.I.G., and Jadakiss referenced the game in their lyrics. Even Kool G Rap titled his 1995 album 4,5,6, containing the line “Headcrack, time to get the bread”—a line possibly inspiring 50 Cent’s adaptation for casinos.
However, it was Thomas DeCarlo Callaway who brought the game significant exposure when he adopted the stage name CeeLo Green, directly referencing the game.
Casino Adaptations
Presented by TCS/JOHNHUXLEY, 50 Cent Headcrack aims to attract new players to the tables and maintain a fast-paced gaming experience, following Cee-lo’s core excitement: three dice, one shooter, and the anticipation of rolling a 4-5-6.
“Featuring three dice, three main bets, and clear results visible across the pit, the game is easily learnable with just one round—perfect for younger players and individuals avoiding craps due to public learning concerns,” as per the company.
A significant deviation from street Cee-lo is not treating 1-2-3 as an automatic loss or assigning trips or a pair-plus-six as strong wins.
In the casino version, the gameplay revolves around Bank versus Shooter, with an option for a tie bet. Upon achieving a 4-5-6 roll, the table erupts with one word—Headcrack!—accompanied by a skull-and-dice display lighting up.
50 Cent Headcrack will be available to commercial casino operators in traditional and automated dice technology formats.
As of now, no casinos have committed publicly. The crucial discussions will likely happen at G2E, where the real gaming action unfolds.
