Aristocrat Gaming, ranked as the second-largest slot machine manufacturer globally after IGT, has launched the second version of The Phantom on casino floors. Drawing inspiration from the original masked superhero, this exciting new slot machine is now operational at six locations across Las Vegas, including Resorts World and The Venetian on the Strip, as well as El Cortez, Circa downtown, and the Palms and Rampart off-Strip.

Crafted on Aristocrat’s state-of-the-art Baron Upright cabinet, the game boasts progressive jackpots starting from $10,000, along with high-quality graphics and sound, bonus meters, and features inspired by the original 1936 comic series.
“We are excited to reintroduce The Phantom to casino-goers with a game that is brimming with excitement and adventure, utilizing the latest in gaming technology,” stated Kurt Gissane, Aristocrat’s Chief Revenue Officer, in a recent press release. “The Phantom enjoys a large following worldwide, and we are eager for fans to experience this new version.”
History of The Phantom Slot

This launch marks the second Phantom slot from the Australian company, following its first introduction in 2009. Although the initial version was made available in the U.S., it did not achieve massive success.
Known for blockbuster titles like Buffalo, Lightning Link, and Dragon Link, the company is banking on its expanded presence in the U.S. market to elevate the appeal of this historic brand.
The Phantom is characterized by his seemingly indestructible nature. Often called The Ghost Who Walks, he represents more than just one individual; he is the 21st in a lineage of crimefighters originating as far back as 1536, when the first Phantom vowed to combat evil following the murder of his father by pirates.
The current Phantom, Kit Walker, continues this heroic legacy from his concealed Skull Cave located in the fictional African country of Bangalla.
Owned by King Features Syndicate, The Phantom has been licensed to major comic publishers DC and Marvel, appearing in numerous comic books and graphic novels, five television series, and two films — including the classic 1943 film and a cult classic remake starring Billy Zane in 1996.
The Phantom’s resurgence isn’t confined to slots alone; earlier this year Art of Play Interactive launched the first original Phantom video game, and a new comic series by Mad Cave Studios is anticipated to debut this September.
Officials from Aristocrat have indicated plans for further installations of The Phantom slot machine throughout Southern Nevada.
