bet365 has launched online sports betting and casino gaming in West Virginia, marking its entry into the 18th U.S. market as part of its expansion across North America.
The launch provides West Virginia customers aged 21 and older with access to bet365’s sportsbook and online casino just before the college football and NFL seasons. This marks the company’s fourth U.S. market where both sports betting and online casino gaming are offered, with sports betting alone available in the other 14 markets.
The operator is introducing new customer promotions like “Bet $10, Get $150 + 50 Spins” and “1,000 Deposit Match + 1,000 free spins.”
bet365’s sportsbook features live and in-game betting alongside its Early Payout Offer (EPO), which settles qualifying football bets as winners when a team takes a 17-point lead, regardless of the final outcome.
The casino offering includes Daily Prize Matcher and Jackpot365, a multi-tier progressive jackpot feature directly integrated within a bet slip or casino game.
“West Virginia represents another important milestone in bet365’s ongoing expansion across North America,” said Trip Stoddard, Head of Development at bet365. “As we expand our footprint across the region, our focus remains on delivering customers the quality, depth, and functionality that define the bet365 platform. With football season on the horizon, it’s an exciting time to introduce our sportsbook and casino offerings to customers throughout the state.”
bet365 received an interim license in West Virginia in January and was granted a full annual license on July 29 based on West Virginia Lottery licensing documents.
The launch makes bet365 the 10th online sports wagering operator licensee in West Virginia. Other operators in the state include BetRivers, BetMGM, Caesars, DraftKings, Ember Casino & Sportsbook, Fanatics, FanDuel, Kambi, and theScore Bet.
West Virginia is bet365’s sixth North American market launch in the past 13 months. The company entered Kansas and Maryland in August 2025, Missouri in December 2025, Michigan in April 2026, and Alberta in July 2026, offering both sports betting and casino gaming in Michigan and Alberta.
The company also launched online sports betting in Illinois and Tennessee earlier in 2025.
bet365 has made significant investments in its U.S. expansion, including approximately $135 million to develop a 120,000-square-foot headquarters in Denver. It joined the Sports Betting Alliance in June 2025 and launched its “Winning Is Everything” marketing campaign in March 2026 targeting bettors in the United States and Canada.
The operator could potentially expand into Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted in April to reopen the state’s sports betting license application process following a written request from bet365.
bet365 offers betting on more than 100 sports and over one million live-streamed events annually. Its platform also includes responsible gaming tools such as spending and session limits.
