St-Pierre, a celebrated member of the UFC Hall of Fame, artistically merged Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, and striking techniques within the Octagon, mastering the welterweight and middleweight weight classes. His impressive record stands at 26 wins and only 2 losses, complemented by 9 title defenses, solidifying his status as one of the most skilled fighters in history. The Montreal native held the welterweight title for a decade, symbolizing resilience and dedication on a global scale.

Resilience and Dedication

The new TV, digital, and social media advertisement featuring GSP serves as a follow-up to the Bet99 responsible gambling advertisement campaign from 2022. This latest ad sees GSP donning karate gear while emphasizing the tools provided by Bet99 to encourage safe gambling practices.

Infused with humor, the 30-second spot features GSP ringing the doorbell of a young man’s residence, handing him a suitcase, and stating, “Still Here for You!” while also displaying a “Gamble Responsibly” message.

Bet99 is among the pioneering licensed operators in Ontario’s regulated igaming sector, having received their license from the AGCO in September 2022, shortly after the market opened the preceding April.

3,000 Online Casino Games

In Ontario, professional athletes are permitted to participate in advertising campaigns that promote responsible gaming initiatives only. They are prohibited from appearing in ads that directly promote sports betting or online casino platforms.

Bet99 has collaborated with professional athletes previously, including Auston Matthews from the Toronto Maple Leafs. Currently, Bet99 is one of 48 licensed platforms in the province, catering to both sports wagering and casino gaming.

As with other operators within Ontario, casino offerings dominate their services. Recent statistics released by iGaming Ontario show that, out of a record CAD $9.2 billion wagered in October, an astounding 85% was dedicated to online casino activities.
