BetMGM has introduced new efficiencies to its reward points program. Clients can now access points earned in one state when they travel to another state.
Now, BetMGM rewards points will be consolidated in a single digital wallet instead of being segregated by state.
Streamlining BetMGM Rewards Points into a single account is the next phase of BetMGM’s single, digital wallet. With single account, users have one set of login credentials and account settings, along with a single cash balance accessible in all states where BetMGM is available,” according to a statement from the operator.
The new efficiencies in the BetMGM loyalty program are not yet effective in Ontario, Canada and Puerto Rico. BetMGM, a joint venture of Entain and MGM Resorts International, operates in 29 North American jurisdictions.
BetMGM News on Wallet Streamlining
The updated rewards points/wallet system comes just three months after BetMGM allowed bettors to transfer digital wallets across state lines. Now, clients signing up in one state can use the same account in other states where BetMGM operates online gaming and sports betting.
For instance, a customer registering for a BetMGM account at an MGM Resorts International casino in Las Vegas can use that account when visiting Arizona, Louisiana, Michigan, Ontario, Canada, or other licensed areas where BetMGM accepts sports bets.
“Through operation and partnership with MGM Resorts, this innovative feature makes BetMGM the only legalized sports betting app that allows Nevada residents and visitors to wager in the state and carry their funds to BetMGM mobile markets across the United States,” added the operator in the press release.
BetMGM was the first multi-state operator to integrate its iGaming/sports betting platforms into a unified digital wallet.
Further Enhancements to BetMGM Rewards
BetMGM is already connected to the popular MGM Rewards program, enabling clients to earn points redeemable at MGM’s domestic properties. The consolidation of the rewards program into a single digital wallet aligns with BetMGM’s innovation efforts, including its collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy, appealing to clients who value tracking loyalty progress in real time.
“The BetMGM Rewards Program showcases our key differentiators — omnichannel play, iconic hospitality, and partnerships including our alliance with Marriott Bonvoy. With every sportsbook bet and slot spin, you earn rewards that can be used online or in-person,” said BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt in the statement.
