Butler National Corporation renews sports wagering agreements at Boot Hill Casino & Resort until 2030
The agreements, conducted by Butler National subsidiary BHCMC, LLC, include the property’s regulatory relationship with the Kansas Lottery and commercial partnership with DraftKings.
Under the first agreement, Butler National extends its Lottery Sports Wagering Management Contract with the Kansas Lottery for three years. The contract allows Boot Hill Casino to manage sports wagering operations authorized by Kansas Lottery in 2022.
The extension retains the same terms as the original agreement, pushing Boot Hill’s management of sports wagering operations to 2030.
As part of the Kansas Lottery extension, Boot Hill Casino and DraftKings have amended and extended their sports wagering arrangement for ten years. The new terms include updated commercial conditions based on current market factors.
The DraftKings agreement remains subject to Boot Hill Casino’s continuing management authority under its agreement with the Kansas Lottery, tying the duration of the commercial partnership to the underlying regulatory contract.
Ryan Deutsch, General Manager of Boot Hill Casino & Resort, stated, “Sports wagering has become an important component of our entertainment offering and continues to attract visitors from across Kansas and neighboring states. This extension provides long-term stability for our sports wagering platform and allows us to continue investing in the guest experience and sportsbook operations.”
“Boot Hill remains focused on driving tourism, entertainment, and economic activity in Southwest Kansas while generating meaningful revenue for the State of Kansas. We are proud of the role our property plays in supporting both objectives.”
