Brothers from Fargo Accused in Poker Game Theft Associated with Former Dealer

Two North Dakota brothers are accused of being involved in an armed robbery during a private poker game where masked gunmen stole cash, wallets, and cell phones.

Jackson James Dubois, 22, of Fargo, and Delton Robledo Dubois, 20, of West Fargo, have been charged with robbery involving a firearm, dangerous weapon, or destructive device, a Class B felony in Cass County District Court.

Three masked men entered a building in Fargo during the private poker game on August 28 and ordered players to the floor, taking wallets, cell phones, and cash from the poker table, totaling $2,500.

One player reported having a gun placed against his head by one of the robbers during the incident.

Former Dealer Suspected

Players mentioned a former dealer who was fired for being intoxicated and was suspected of involvement in the robbery. The dealer had connections to Jackson Dubois, who was also at the game.

Text messages between Jackson and the former dealer discussing “making money” were found, along with details of the robbery plan.

Another man knew about the plot but did not participate, and surveillance footage linked a black pickup truck to Delton, who had items related to the robbery in his truck.

Phones Provide Clues

Stolen cell phones were found near Jackson’s ex-girlfriend’s address, contradicting his alibi. Delton denied being at the game but had knowledge of the security setup. Weapons were also found in their possessions during the investigation.

The brothers were arrested and remain in custody on felony robbery charges as per Cass County Jail records.
