One aspect where Caesars excels is recognizing its audience in the promotional materials for their Alberta market debut. The igaming operator has unveiled pre-registration for three platforms under the catchy slogan “Hat Trick,” a nod to the hockey-loving Canadian audience.

Three Platforms Unveiled

Caesars is making a significant push – pre-registration includes three platforms (hence the “Hat Trick” reference, representing three goals in hockey): Caesars Palace Online Casino and Horseshoe Online Casino, which highlights Caesars’ classic casino legacy, featuring beloved slot games, table games, and live dealer experiences, along with Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, which combines sports betting with casino gaming.

Players can download the app anytime; Alberta will be available as an option once the province’s regulated market officially launches.

Caesars joins other igaming operators eager to establish a presence in the new market, expected to open this spring or summer. Other operators such as theScore, PointsBet Canada, DraftKings, Rush Street Interactive (BetRivers), Soft2Bet, Bet99, and BetMGM have also announced their intentions, applying for licenses or rolling out pre-registration platforms for individuals aged 21 and above in Alberta to sign up and receive updates, along with the opportunity for bonuses when the market officially launches.

Projected Spring or Summer Launch

“Beginning pre-registration is a vital initial step that enables players to gear up for the launch while we finalize plans to launch our complete suite of platforms in Alberta,” stated Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.

We are excited about the province’s continued advancements towards a regulated online market and are grateful for the support of the Alberta iGaming Corporation as we navigate this process.

The prevailing forecast suggests the Alberta market could yield over $700 million in annual revenue once fully established. Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis will oversee the new market, with the Alberta iGaming Corporation playing a role in management and conduct.

Caesars was quick to enter the Ontario market as well, launching on the very day it opened – April 4, 2022. Both Horseshoe Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino are currently licensed and operating in that region.
