This marks the inaugural appearance of a Caesars-branded brick-and-mortar sportsbook within a casino hotel primarily designed for Las Vegas residents. Patrons will have the opportunity to open and fund Caesars mobile betting accounts directly at the new sportsbook when it launches.

“For the first time in Summerlin, sports enthusiasts can register in-person for the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app. Additionally, it will allow mobile cash deposits and withdrawals for guest convenience,” stated an official announcement.

The current retail race and sportsbook at Rampart spans nearly 6,000 square feet, positioned conveniently near the casino floor, and features five self-service kiosks. This number will increase significantly when the Caesars brand is incorporated.

Competitive Landscape for Sportsbooks in Summerlin

In the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, the traditional casino hotels comprise Rampart, Boyd Gaming’s Suncoast, and Red Rock’s namesake establishment. Additionally, the Red Rock Durango Casino & Resort, located southwest of Las Vegas, is just a short drive from the area.

This intensifies the competition for retail sportsbooks within the town. Both Red Rock and Durango have impressive sports betting venues, particularly appealing to Las Vegas locals, while Boyd has recently upgraded Suncoast’s sportsbook.

By teaming up with Caesars — a prominent name in Las Vegas casinos and sports wagering — Rampart is positioning itself as a serious contender in the Summerlin sportsbook market.

“The Caesars Sportsbook at Rampart Casino will be situated on the casino floor, occupying the space currently held by the existing sportsbook, and will offer easy access to parking. Guests can also look forward to an enhanced sports viewing experience featuring a new video wall and an innovative 360-degree LED video display at the sportsbook bar, all aimed at delivering the ultimate game-day atmosphere,” as highlighted in the press release.

Upgrades at Rampart Casino

Along with Red Rock, Rampart is regarded as one of the premier gaming establishments in Summerlin, and the management has taken steps to enhance this reputation. The announcement of the partnership with Caesars comes nearly a year after Rampart disclosed a $75 million renovation for the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa located on the property.

As for Caesars, this collaboration could offer significant advantages, staying true to a proven strategy. The company’s William Hill brand operates sportsbooks at various off-Strip casinos, while other gaming entities with strong affiliations to sports wagering have launched their names in Las Vegas locals sportsbooks, with Circa Sports being a notable example.

“We recognize the high demand for a comprehensive sports betting experience within the Summerlin community, and Rampart provides the perfect partnership to engage the sports fans here,” commented Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital.
