Codere Online (NASDAQ: CDRO) has signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the National Football League to become an official sportsbook partner in Mexico.

This partnership will also make Codere an official partner and sponsor of Super Bowl LXI and the NFL Mexico Game, marking one of Codere Online’s most prestigious sports collaborations so far.
This move comes as the operator continues to expand its footprint in Mexico, a key and significant market for the company.
Carlos Sabanza, director of sponsorships and public relations at Codere Online, characterized this collaboration as a “significant achievement” for the operator.
“This deal solidifies our premium position and demonstrates our strong commitment to Mexico, a market known for its immense passion for the NFL,” Sabanza expressed.
“Together, we are excited to curate unique experiences that bring fans closer to the game and further enhance our sports betting and entertainment offerings.”
Codere will sponsor the NFL’s 2026 game in Mexico City on November 22, featuring a matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings. This game will be the NFL’s first regular-season event in Mexico since 2022.
Additionally, Codere will act as an official sponsor of Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles in February 2027.
NFL Targets Mexican Fan Base
Mexico stands as one of the NFL’s primary international markets. Arturo Olivé, managing director of NFL Mexico, emphasized that the country boasts “millions of passionate fans who engage with our sport year-round.”
“We are delighted to partner with Codere Online, a prominent online gaming and sports betting operator in Mexico, to enhance the fan experience,” Olivé stated.
“Together, we aim to elevate fan engagement through innovative activations, exclusive opportunities, and special moments that bring supporters closer to the NFL.”
The companies have committed to ensuring that all NFL-related content and activations under this partnership adhere to responsible gambling, integrity, and regulatory standards.
This NFL agreement follows a robust period for Codere Online in Mexico.
In July, the company raised its full-year outlook after posting record second-quarter results, with Mexico emerging as its top market. Mexican NGR saw a 24% year-over-year increase to €36.1 million ($41.5 million) during the quarter.
Codere Online also noted that Mexico and Spain were key drivers behind its growth, contributing to a 27% rise in Q2 group NGR to a record €69.4 million ($79.9 million).
