The duo has come together to introduce Complex Bets, a fresh platform aimed at sports wagering and trading content, emphasizing interactive storytelling and original programming. Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Markets will contribute odds, data, and market insights.

Emerging from its origins as a streetwear and hip-hop culture magazine in 2002, Complex has evolved into a comprehensive digital hub that explores rap, sneakers, style, sports, and pop culture, targeting a youthful audience. This partnership with Fanatics aims to infuse betting content into contemporary cultural discussions.

Traditional sportsbook odds often lack excitement. Complex Bets will roll out original shows, including a weekly YouTube series hosted by West Wilson, who will delve into pressing sports betting and gaming discussions. “Complex on the Scene,” led by Julia “Juju” Adams, will immerse fans and bettors into live events, draft settings, fan zones, and celebrity experiences, capturing the atmosphere around major happenings and pivotal cultural moments in betting. Additionally, interactive elements like prediction challenges and trivia will keep users engaged.

The content will encompass various sports, cultures, and fandoms, highlighting the NFL, NBA, UFC, college football and basketball, and the World Cup, all while weaving in pop culture references on Complex’s own platforms and social channels. This collaboration illustrates the future direction of sports betting platforms—venturing beyond simple team narratives paired with financial figures.
