Delaware North debuts Ember Casino in New Jersey, initiates rebranding of digital gaming

Delaware North has officially unveiled Ember Casino in New Jersey, representing the inaugural stage of an extensive rebranding initiative that aims to consolidate the organization’s digital gaming operations under a unified brand identity.

The hospitality and entertainment firm has revealed intentions to shift its current digital gaming services from the Betly brand to Ember in both existing and forthcoming markets, with additional brand adaptations and market growth anticipated throughout the year.

“Ember signifies a new era for our gaming sector,” stated Jason Gregorec, President of Gaming at Delaware North. “We are establishing a cohesive platform that merges our digital and physical gaming acumen, providing an unparalleled experience for players while preparing for sustainable growth in competitive regulated markets.”

New Jersey, recognized as one of the premier regulated online gaming markets in the United States, will act as the launching pad for Ember’s expansive rollout strategy. In 2025, online casinos in the region generated approximately $2.9 billion in gross gaming revenue, with Delaware North emphasizing the sector’s ongoing expansion.

As part of the launch, Ember is rolling out a Play to Earn promotion designed to encourage early player engagement. Eligible users will have the chance to earn entries for prize draws featuring a Toyota GR86, a Ford Mustang, and a Ford Bronco during the platform’s initial launch phase.

Ember Casino is powered by Playtech and includes the supplier’s responsible gaming instruments, such as BetBuddy. The platform showcases a variety of online casino offerings, including slot games and live dealer experiences backed by cutting-edge gameplay and streaming technologies.

Delaware North has also recently enhanced its collaborations with content providers such as IGT, White Hat Studios, and Light & Wonder to facilitate the Ember launch and future market expansions. The company collaborates with Vegas Kings for platform design and AquireBet to optimize user experience and acquisition.

“Our goal has consistently been to provide extraordinary experiences,” said Lee Terfloth, Chief Interactive Gaming Officer at Delaware North. “These partnerships are propelling our expansion in the digital gaming arena, maintaining the level of precision, personalization, and innovation that our players expect.”

Delaware North manages a gaming portfolio that spans seven U.S. states and Australia. Additionally, the company is serving as the developer and gaming and hospitality consultant for the Catawba Nation’s $1 billion casino resort project in North Carolina.

The launch of Ember Casino aims to bolster Delaware North’s footprint in digital gaming as the company strives to unify its online operations under one brand across regulated markets.
