Durango Casino & Resort has officially launched its state-of-the-art high-limit slot room along with a multi-level parking garage on Monday afternoon, highlighting the successful completion of the initial phase of the southwest Las Vegas resort’s expansion.

The high-limit slot area opened its doors at 5 p.m. Encompassing over 8,000 square feet of gaming and lounge space, it boasts 120 high-limit slot machines, featuring 30 brand new titles. Additionally, the venue includes a 16-seat bar equipped with multi-game bar-top machines.

“We take immense pride in introducing the first phase of Durango’s expansion, showcasing one of the finest high-limit slot rooms in the city,” expressed David Horn, the vice president and general manager of Durango Casino & Resort. “By adding a variety of the latest gaming options to our casino floor, along with convenient and complementary parking and attentive service in our high-limit area, we continue to enhance the gaming experience for our guests.”

The new facility features Dragon Link machines linked to Station Casinos’ progressive jackpots, ranging from $50,000 to $1 million. New additions to the gaming roster include Arctic Express, Super Hot Flaming Pots, and Wolf Run Wild Moon.

Services in the high-limit area consist of dedicated guest service staff, a full-time hospitality butler, two private restrooms, and a high-limit cage. Guests will also benefit from MyPay, a digital payout system aimed at expediting transactions.

The bar offers an array of wines, champagnes, cocktails, premium spirits, as well as a 24-hour coffee and tea program. A covered patio provides additional seating, sports viewing, and designated cigar smoking areas.

The new parking garage includes nearly 2,000 spaces, offering free self-parking and valet services. It connects seamlessly to the casino and features green lighting to indicate available spots. Covered VIP Chairman parking is also an option.

To celebrate the launch, the resort distributed scratch cards to the first 100 guests on Monday evening, with prizes that included dining credits, complimentary slot play, VIP parking passes, and a $500 grand prize.

The casino floor expansion, which debuted on November 7, added more than 6,000 square feet of gaming space and introduced over 100 new games and machines.

Since its opening in 2023, Durango Casino & Resort has announced plans for an additional north-side expansion expected to add roughly 275,000 square feet of new gaming, dining, and recreational facilities.
