Employees of MGM Resorts International, the largest US casino operator by gaming revenue, are actively participating in community outreach initiatives.

MGM Resorts, based in Las Vegas, recently announced more than $4.6 million in charitable donations through the MGM Resorts Foundation. The funding, mostly contributed by employees, has been awarded to 211 organizations in regions where MGM Resorts properties are located.
Recipients of the grants are from areas such as Nevada, Michigan, Ohio, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Springfield, Massachusetts, and Washington, DC.
“The MGM Resorts Foundation stands out because our employees play a significant role in this charitable work. They not only donate money but also understand the needs of their communities, ensuring that the funds reach organizations making a real impact,” explained Maria Jose Gatti, VP of philanthropy at MGM Resorts.
“Our giving model places our employees and their communities at the center of our philanthropy efforts,” added Gatti.
2026 MGM Recipients
Organizations in Southern Nevada are eligible for up to $80,000 in funding, while those in other areas can receive up to $15,000. Certain regions have specific limitations, like a $10,000 cap in Massachusetts and the Washington Metropolitan Area.
Among the notable beneficiaries is Shoes That Fit, a charity that provides new shoes to underprivileged children, with grants awarded in multiple locations.
Gamers Outreach, another major recipient, aims to bring joy to hospitalized children through video games.
The Foundation prioritizes funding for agencies involved in affordable housing, homelessness, family services, economic opportunity, health and wellness, and support for veterans and military families.
Government agencies, schools without 501(c)(3) status, religious organizations, endowments, and athletic/recreational programs are not eligible for consideration.
