- Ex-supervisor claims ongoing sexual harassment at Palms Casino
- Allegations of retaliation following report to management
- Federal lawsuit seeks damages for emotional distress and wrongful termination
A former floor supervisor at Palms Casino has initiated legal action, alleging that both the establishment and its leadership engaged in continuous sexual harassment, along with retaliation and wrongful termination. These allegations have transitioned from state to federal court.

The plaintiff, Tinesha Wickliffe, asserts that she experienced a prolonged history of sexual misconduct and discrimination during her tenure.
‘Inappropriate Conduct’
Wickliffe recounts being hired as a card dealer at Palms around May 27, 2022, before being elevated to Dual Rate Floor Supervisor. She claims that from October 2022 onwards, a supervisor named Ray Del Vega commenced a pattern of sexual harassment.
Among her accusations, he allegedly questioned her, while she was bent over to retrieve documents, “if she wanted to engage in inappropriate activities,” mimicking a sexual act.
Additionally, she alleges that in November 2022, he lasciviously stared at her chest and made an inappropriate remark, and in January 2023, he groped her.
After bringing these incidents to the attention of female supervisor Noreliza Cailles, Wickliffe claims that the Palms management failed to take substantial action. Although her immediate supervisor “Felix” agreed to her request to be reassigned away from Del Vega, a higher manager, Mitchell Harper, allegedly overturned this decision due to directives from the Director of Table Games, according to the complaint. Wickliffe asserts that she was labeled as “overly sensitive” and her complaints disregarded.
Further retaliation allegations include excessive scrutiny from management, punitive attendance policies (including a disciplinary note concerning missed shifts from six months prior), denial of breaks, less favorable shift scheduling, public humiliation by management, and a demotion back to dealer position as stated in the complaint.
‘Manipulative Management’
She also claims that management provided her with “misleading information,” alleging that there existed video evidence disproving her claims, according to her lawsuit.
“The defendants acted as if they had video footage disproving Ms. Wickliffe’s allegations of assault when she expressed her concerns,” the complaint reads. “Ms. Wickliffe’s employer, Palms Casino, held a responsibility to safeguard her from the sexual harassment they were cognizant of, yet chose to manipulate Ms. Wickliffe with falsehoods. A woman of integrity and faith, Ms. Wickliffe was outraged and distressed by the defendants’ outrageous fabrications.”
Ultimately, she resigned, citing constructive discharge, due to unbearable working conditions.
Her complaint includes allegations of sexual discrimination and harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation under Nevada law, wrongful constructive termination against public policy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Damages sought encompass compensatory, consequential, and punitive damages, alongside legal fees, lost earnings, emotional suffering, and other forms of relief.
Palms has yet to submit a legal response and did not provide a comment before publication.
