Flamingo Las Vegas is set to undergo a significant renovation as it gears up for its 80th anniversary celebration in 2026.
The improvements will feature a completely revamped lobby with a brand-new bar, an upgraded VIP check-in area, and revitalized common areas. Bugsy’s Bar, a long-time favorite on the casino floor, will also see a comprehensive makeover.
The redesign, directed by Allard & Conversano Design, seeks to enhance the guest experience with modern elements while maintaining the resort’s distinctive tropical vibe. Visuals of the iconic flamingo associated with the property will be integrated throughout the newly updated spaces, contributing a sense of playfulness and historical reference.
Visitors walking into the updated lobby can look forward to a pod-style front desk, bronze flamingo sculptures, and tailored murals. The main attraction will be the lobby bar — a 20-seat venue featuring tabletop gaming, surround TVs, and a convivial lounge environment.
On the casino floor, the newly redesigned Bugsy’s Bar will showcase a striking visual identity along with a creative cocktail menu, serving patrons around the clock.
“We’re rolling out fresh designs that align with the recent enhancements made to the property, creating environments that feel modern yet distinctly Flamingo,” said Dan Walsh, SVP and General Manager of the resort. “This resort has long been a landmark on The Strip, and these renovations will ensure it remains an energetic, must-see destination for years ahead.”
This project builds on the Flamingo’s recent expansion, which introduced venues like Pinky’s by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay Burger, Havana 1957, and the new Go Pool. Slated for 2025 are Salt & Straw ice cream and Category 10, an entertainment experience inspired by Luke Combs, brought to you by Opry Entertainment Group.
