Wagering Now Available on Mobile through Hard Rock Bets in Florida
The Seminole Tribe of Florida has relaunched its Hard Rock Bets mobile platform earlier than expected. The online sportsbook has been made accessible to existing customers and casino loyalty program members. Access will open up to new customers soon. This move comes amidst ongoing legal challenges by opponents of the Seminole Tribe’s monopoly on sports betting. Despite this, sports betting is set to commence at tribal casinos across the Sunshine State in December. Follow ongoing litigation by pari-mutuel operator West Flagler Associates, it is unclear how long it will take to resolve. With the launch of Hard Rock Bets, existing mobile customers can now start placing wagers on sports. This opportunity comes a month before in-person sports betting is made available to the public at six Seminole casinos in Florida.
