Exciting news for poker enthusiasts; Foxwoods Resort Casino is set to unveil a new poker room on September 9. The latest addition will boast automated sign-up kiosks, 37 state-of-the-art high-definition televisions, and will be conveniently located near DraftKings Sportsbook kiosks, as stated by the casino.

The poker establishment will be situated within the Fox Tower, and will be operational from Sunday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Friday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 a.m.

The grand opening will kick off with a ceremonial event at 10:30 a.m., followed by live dealing starting at 11 a.m. Participants can enter a $25,000 Hot Seat Giveaway from noon to 10 p.m. This exciting promotion features $1,000 prizes awarded every 30 minutes throughout the day, culminating in a grand $5,000 prize during the 10 p.m. drawing, as reported by Foxwoods.

The Mashantucket-based resort has launched several new features in 2023. In May, Connecticut’s first Great Wolf Lodge opened on-site, followed by the debut of Iron Chef Morimoto’s Momosan restaurant in June.

Additionally, Foxwoods will be featured in the upcoming season 24 of the television series “Hell’s Kitchen,” set to premiere in September. The previous season was filmed in Mashantucket, where season 23 winner Kyle Timpson took over as the executive chef of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen at Foxwoods in April.
