In April 2023, Cordish acquired the Diamond Jacks hotel and riverboat in Bossier City. The $200 million renovation project involved transforming the property into Live! Louisiana.
With existing casinos in Maryland and Pennsylvania, Cordish is expanding its operations, with new projects in Louisiana and Virginia.
The new Live! Louisiana casino features a 47,000-square-foot gaming floor with slots, table games, a high-limit room, and a sportsbook. The connected 12-story hotel offers 549 guestrooms and suites, along with a renovated pool and fitness center.
Room rates for Live! Louisiana start at $399 per night for the opening weekend. After additional fees and taxes, a two-night stay comes to $957.27.
Additional amenities include a 25,000-square-foot event center, 30,000 square feet of dining and entertainment options, and a 31-site RV park.
Several restaurants are set to open on the property, including Sports & Social, Luk Foo, and The Prime Rib.
