Hard Rock Atlantic City plans to invest $50M in property improvements by 2026

As part of the $50 million capital improvement initiative at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, over 700 hotel rooms, more than 60 suites, and eight luxurious penthouses are set to undergo extensive renovations, alongside new dining experiences scheduled for launch by 2026.

The renovation project primarily focuses on the North Tower of the hotel, revitalizing standard guest rooms, suites, and penthouses. Additionally, walkways and corridors within this tower will receive modern upgrades. A significant portion of these capital projects is anticipated to be finalized by the conclusion of 2026, with some construction already in progress.

The improvement plan also encompasses innovative dining options. Sitar, an East Indian restaurant featuring contemporary Indian dishes, will open with picturesque views of the Boardwalk. Furthermore, Federal Donuts and Chicken, a well-known brand from Philadelphia, is slated to debut at the resort this spring.

Renovations on the casino floor are also in motion, including new carpeting and enhancements to the second-floor corridor. Exterior restoration efforts are currently taking place on the South Tower as well.

The resort has also introduced 16 electric vehicle charging stations at Rocktane Gas & Wash, ensuring charging accessibility for both guests and visitors.

Since its inception in 2018, Hard Rock Atlantic City has invested close to $700 million in the resort. In 2023, the firm disclosed plans for $50 million in capital projects, which encompass penthouse suite refurbishments, the installment of a high-limit slot area, a private helicopter service, and updates to beachfront amenities.

“Our $50 million capital improvement strategy for 2026 demonstrates Hard Rock Atlantic City’s steadfast dedication to reinvesting in our property, our staff, and the Atlantic City community,” stated George Goldhoff, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

“With redesigned guest rooms, fresh dining options, world-class entertainment, and ongoing community involvement, these investments guarantee we deliver an outstanding guest experience while adhering to our core ethos of ‘Love All, Serve All’.”

The resort continues to dedicate resources toward entertainment across its venues, such as Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena, Sound Waves, and the Vibe Stages. Scheduled performers for 2026 include Rod Stewart, Nikki Glaser, Daniel Tosh, James Taylor, Charlie Puth, and Ricardo Arjona.

Hard Rock Atlantic City has earned its third consecutive USA Today Top Workplaces Award in 2026. Since 2018, the resort has established partnerships with over 500 local organizations, engaging in initiatives centered on education, food security, youth development, and social equity. These efforts align with the company’s internal initiatives, encapsulated in the motto “Take Time To Be Kind.”
