Caesars Entertainment has unveiled Harrah’s Oklahoma, marking its inaugural managed property in the state. This venue is developed in collaboration with the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma and is poised to be a central point for tourism and entertainment along the iconic Route 66 corridor near Chandler.

The casino held its grand opening on Thursday, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by tribal leaders and executives from the company. Celebrations included initial gaming experiences, local celebrity appearances, live music performances, and a spectacular fireworks show.

Adding to the festivities, Oklahoma football legends Barry Switzer and Bob Stoops participated in ceremonial first plays on the casino floor.

The expansive 173,000-square-foot establishment includes 12 table games and over 1,000 slot machines, along with a dedicated high-limit gaming area. Guests can enjoy diverse dining options such as Arrow & Ember, which offers modern American cuisine including steak, lobster bisque, and specialty burgers, as well as Dash Café for quick bites like smashburgers, pizza, and breakfast burritos.

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Oklahoma City, the new property is positioned to attract thousands of visitors, especially with the upcoming 100th anniversary of Route 66 in 2026. This historic route is expected to draw many travelers, including motorcycle enthusiasts heading to visit the renowned Seaba Station Motorcycle Museum in Warwick.

Visitors at the new venue can join Caesars Rewards, enabling them to earn and redeem points at Harrah’s Oklahoma and other Caesars destinations across the nation, including Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe, and New Orleans.

Jake Keyes, Chairman of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, emphasized that this partnership symbolizes a long-term investment in economic growth. “Harrah’s Oklahoma injects new vitality into our community, creating valuable opportunities for future generations,” he expressed.

The development is projected to generate over 300 jobs across various sectors including gaming, hospitality, food services, security, and administration. Officials anticipate that the property will serve as a regional tourism cornerstone, attracting visitors from across Oklahoma and neighboring states, while bolstering local economic advancement.
